Dear Families,
We started off Kindness Week with a very thoughtful class meeting about the meaning of kindness. We discussed what kindness looks like and how we can show kindness to others. Students shared what it felt like to be excluded and how we can make sure everyone feels welcome. The students all agreed on the value of a smile and a hello. My favorite part of our meeting was when each student shared what they liked about another student. We created a warm, kind and caring classroom and I hope that we continue that feeling through the end of the school year! I urge you to talk with your student tonight about our conversations to learn more!
AstroCamp - final payment of $125 (for those who did not pay the total $325) is due this Friday, March 31 along with the permission slip.
Screenagers Movie Screening- permission slip and $10 per family payment are now due.
Uniform Code-Spring is here and we are all looking toward summer, but we still need to be mindful of our uniform code. Socks must be solid white, navy blue or black with no logos. If a student does not wear uniform socks, they will be asked to go to Mrs. Lang to receive proper socks. Parents will then be billed for the socks. Also, please make sure that boys wear belts and girls have appropriate skirt lengths.
Gala Committee/Volunteer Meetings- Every Wednesday 8:00 a.m. in the school library
Gala Raffle Tickets=- Each family is asked to sell 20 $10 tickets. Grand prize is $5000.
Gala Jewerly Raffle: ONLY 40 tickets will be sold to win diamond earrings.
